| > Galería-Museo Aguilar: "Temple of Art" |
Buen Ayre Recoleta Magazine Nº17, Mayo 2006 |
“I invite you to visit one of the biggest art galleries in the world”, says a lady to the pedestrians at the door of 950 Florida St, gently. In the mythical sidewalk -and in the same spot where the Müller gallery used to work- nowadays we find Galería-Museo Aguilar.
More than two thousand Argentine works are exposed there -from the floor to the ceiling and from wall to wall. “It is not a traditional gallery”, admits its founder Alberto Aguilar. “It is not boring, children don´t cry here, they are astonished”. (Cont.) |

Alberto Aguilar: Since I was young, when I took up the acrylic business and set up my own company, I started to invest in paintings instead of investing in the stock exchange or in estates.(Cont.)

If someone thought that nothing in the world of the art could surprise is that does not know the work of Gustavo Ortiz
He has a unique style; he vibrantly uses the movement and the material with a lot of boldness, the same one with which he magically captures the figure’s illusion.(Cont.)
